Regardless of politics or what's going on in the world....we often forget that our nation's President isn't only a man with a very important job. Most of them have been Daddy's too.

I can't speak for little boys, but as a little girl my Daddy was my world. There was nothing from a bruised ego to a skinned knee to a broken heart that he couldn't fix. There was nothing that could break that he couldn't piece back together. He was like a super hero....always there to save the day.

Little girls always hold a special place in their hearts for their Daddy's. There will be countless men who enter a young lady's life for one reason or another -- but only one Daddy. You go through stages where you think they know it all, to them knowing absolutely nothing, to feeling like they might indeed know what they are talking about.

Presidents Bush and Obama have had the greatest challenge issued to them from God....no, not to be president, but to be a Daddy. To demonstrate and model to two beautiful daughters what it means to love & cherish your wife, the importance of family, and many many other things.

Why don't you call your Daddy and let him know just how important he is to you and how much you love him? And, if you're not able to do that....then take a few minutes to reflect on the impact your Daddy made in shaping you to be the woman you are today.
